Thailand has found 369 more COVID-19 cases; proactive screening in Samut Sakhon Province continues to rise

Aphisamai Srirangsan, an assistant spokesman for the FDA, reported the latest COVID-19 cases today (18 Jan), 369 more people were infected, bringing the total number of infections to 12,423 people to cure. 9,206 people and 3,147 remained in custody.No more deaths were reported today. The numbers are accumulated at 70 people.

While data on the situation of the new epidemic from December 15 to today (18 Jan), there are 8,186 people who have been infected, 5,266 people have lost their illness and 10 have died.

As for the details of all 369 new infections today (18 Jan), 357 people were infected in the country, found in the surveillance system and the service system of 82 people, 51 in Samut Sakhon Province, Bangkok 13. Angthong 8 people, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, 2 people each, Loei, Trang, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Chonburi, Rayong, 1 person per province

From proactive screening in the community, 275 people were found, the highest number remained in Samut Sakhon Province, 269 people, Bangkok, 5 people, Chonburi, 1 and 12 were infected from foreign countries, 5 of them were from Malaysia, the United States. 2 Oman, UK, France, Germany and Bahrain 1 person per country
