That day did not go well despite taking many things; That’s why we don’t make films with only new faces: Jeethu Joseph

Director Jeethu Joseph talks about not making films with only new faces. Jeethu said that he has no patience and gets upset easily if the actors are bad.

He said he doesn’t act like that because it’s his own style. Jeethu said this in an interview given to Mirchi Malayalam.

“I’ve never acted and shown. The context and scene will be told and acted out. Because sometimes they act above what I show. It is only when the performance falls below that that they are asked to change again.

Had experience in London. When asked to give a specific response to a character, they responded with a small smile. I said ok to that. Then I told them I could do it another way.

After many takes, it didn’t work out. Finally I showed one. But he can’t. Because that’s my way. I said no problem we can provide what we took before. He was terribly upset. When they said I couldn’t do it, I said I don’t think so.

And I’m a bit impatient. I worry a little if the acting is bad. That’s why we don’t make films with only new people. I am not brave enough in that regard. The reason is impatience. If they do it sometimes it will be fine but I’m impatient. “It will be easier if people behave a little more,” said Jeethu Joseph.

Meanwhile, Jeethu’s new film is Kooman with Asif Ali. The film got a good response. Asif’s performance was also well received by the audience.
