Xinhua News Agency, Xi’an, October 29. The 11th Paralympic Games of the People’s Republic of China and the 8th Special Olympics closed in Xi’an on the evening of the 29th. At 8 pm, the closing ceremony of the Games was held in the Xi’an Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium. The current National Paralympic Games and Special Olympics opened in Xi’an on October 22. 4,484 disabled athletes from all over the country competed in 43 major events and 47 sub-items, demonstrating surpassing themselves and daring to compete.
