On the 15th, the Organizing Committee of the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival released the solicitation information to the world, soliciting entries and screenings of the main competition unit of the Golden Goblet Award.
According to the rules of the main competition unit, the films registered for the Golden Goblet Award should be feature films produced after June 1, 2021, and have not been recognized by other international film producers’ associations as “non-specialized competition-type” international films Participating and participating in the festival, it has never been screened in a country or region other than the country where the film was mainly produced.
The registration rules for the Golden Goblet Award Asian Newcomer Unit, Documentary Film Unit, Animation Unit, Short Film Unit, and International Film Screening Unit were also announced simultaneously.
The Shanghai International Film Festival is the only international category A film festival in China. The deadline for the call for films is March 31, 2022.
