As a girl in her late 21st cannot reach an agreement on the composition of the National Assembly, the vacancy in the National Assembly is prolonged.

As the conflict continued over which party would take the chair of the Legislative and Judiciary Committee, the plenary session for the election of the chairperson was not even scheduled.

In a commentary, spokesperson Yang Geum-hee of the People’s Power House said, “The stagnation of the National Assembly is lengthening without any promise due to the monsoons of the Democratic Party. How long will the Democratic Party stagnate the time of the National Assembly? answer,” he urged.

On the other hand, at a press conference, Chairman Woo Sang-ho of the Democratic Party’s emergency response said, “Is there even one case that the ruling party made concessions to the opposition, whether it was the original composition issue or the personnel hearings? .If I help this much, wouldn’t the ruling party have to pay concessions?” he asked.

As negotiations on the composition of the circle have been delayed, the deadline for personnel hearings for candidates for conscription is also passing one after another.

Hearings on Park Soon-ae, deputy prime minister and minister of education, and Kim Seung-hee, nominee for health and welfare minister, have ended today.

On the 21st, it is known that President Yoon Seok-yeol will request the National Assembly to resend the personnel hearing progress report of candidates who have passed the hearing deadline on the 21st.

In the midst of this, some hardline lawmakers in the Democratic Party are reported to insist that even a single election of the chairperson should be considered in order to solve the vacuum in the National Assembly.

Previously, in 2020, when the National Assembly opened in the first half of the 21st century, the Democratic Party of Korea elected former Chairman Park Byeong-seok alone in the absence of the Future United Party.

Regarding this, an official from the Democratic Party’s leadership said, “It seems that some lawmakers individually expressed their opinions in a situation where the people’s power is not making concessions.”
