The SIGNIEL Club, which is operated by a paid membership system at Lotte Hotel, is getting more attention amid the corona crisis.

According to the hotel industry on the 3rd, the SIGNIEL Club is located on the 107th floor of the SIGNIEL Lotte World Tower located in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Hotel Signiel Seoul prepared a private dining space for VIPs in 2017.

A Lotte Hotel official said, “It is the only membership restaurant among hotels in Korea, and if you sign up by paying an annual fee or if you are a resident of Lotte World Tower Signiel Residence, we have one special member for each registered household.”

Recruitment of members was not easy at the beginning of its introduction. The annual fee of millions of won was a burden to use only the restaurant. There was also a $500,000 deposit.

However, by lowering the barrier to entry, such as removing the deposit, it quickly gained word of mouth among VIPs. The advantage of being able to taste Chinese cuisine and sushi under the direction of master Chinese cuisine chef Yeo Kyung-ok in a private space was highlighted.

According to Lotte Hotel, the Signiel Club has six dining rooms, a sushi bar boasting the world’s highest floor, and a boutique bar. Food prices range from 10,000 to 40,000 won.

In particular, as the demand for private gatherings in a more private and safe space amid the corona crisis increases, the demand for subscriptions is also rising recently.

A Lotte Hotel official said, “To sign up as a member, you must submit an application form and photos.

If you sign up for SIGNIEL Club membership, there is a secure entrance and elevator for club members, so you can go up non-stop from the 1st floor to the 107th floor. The panoramic view from the southern tip of the Han River to the northern tip of Seoul can also be seen at a glance.

A hotel industry official said, “Recently, there is an increasing demand for small weddings, first birthday parties, and family meals at hotels. part,” he said.
