Cyber Police Arrest Man for Selling Secret Clips of Famous Stars
On November 21, 2023, Pol. Lt Gen. Worawat Wattanakornbancha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, ordered the arrest of a man for the crime of “possessing and transmitting child pornography for commercial purposes.” The suspect, Mr. Natthanai, aged 26, was apprehended in a raid on a well-known apartment in the city center of Bangkok.
Discovery of Illegal Activity
The arrest came after a former 90s singer and actor reported obscene material being published on social media, including a leaked clip titled “Leaked clip of 90s hero masturbating.” The victim, who was targeted in the clip, filed a report with the cyber police to take legal action against the perpetrator.
Following an investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Natthanai was the leader behind the leaked clip and had been selling it on social media for profit. He admitted to selling the clip to interested buyers for 50 baht each, resulting in earnings of approximately 7,000 baht before his account was shut down.

During interrogation, Mr. Natthanai expressed remorse for his actions, stating that he posted the clip for sale as a means of earning money, without considering the damage it could cause to the former singer and actor portrayed in the video. Additionally, police discovered that Mr. Natthanai was the owner of a secret group selling pornographic clips of minors.
Legal Action
As a result of these findings, Mr. Natthanai was detained and taken to the investigating officer at Chokchai Police Station for further prosecution.
