He is also accused of falsely registering his close secret C as an employee of Ssang-Bul-Lol and making him receive a salary of 90 million won.
Prosecutors said former Lieutenant-Governor Lee Ssang Bul-Bul played a key role in forging agreements related to economic cooperation projects with North Korea’s Asia-Pacific Peace Committee and the National Economic Cooperation Federation in Shenyang, China in January and May 2019 exchange for bribes, watch.

The prosecution, which defined the case as corruption of collusion between a high-ranking public official and a private company, gained momentum as the former lieutenant governor was arrested.
Previously, the arrest warrant for Mr. C, a close aide to ex-Lieutenant-Governor Lee, dismissed on the grounds that there was no fear of escape or destruction of evidence.
Prosecutors are expected to investigate intensively whether the former lieutenant governor and others who have been arrested will be charged with bribes and if they are guilty.
