The ban on gas heating cannot be in his interest

Economics Minister Habeck wants the installation of Oil and gas heating Ban from 2024. But his plan for climate-friendly heating doesn’t work out – a video commentary.

The installation of oil and gas heating systems is to be banned as early as next year – if Economics Minister Robert Habeck has his way. In a draft law, he is planning a radical step towards the energy transition, which would mean enormous costs, especially for property owners.

In order to achieve the German climate target, however, socially acceptable incentives and other solutions are needed, says t-online editor Rahel Zahlmann.
