Jeddah: The cabinet has congratulated the Saudi team for their victory over Argentina in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The Cabinet congratulated the national team on the historic victory in a cabinet meeting held at the Yamama Palace in Riyadh under the chairmanship of King Salman.
The meeting expressed hope that the national team will continue its journey in the World Cup with the same enthusiasm and determination. The Cabinet also thanked the governors of fraternal and friendly countries and congratulated them on the victory.
The Cabinet noted the country’s interest in communicating and strengthening relations with friendly countries in ways that contribute to consolidating development, progress and prosperity in various sectors.
The meeting discussed the results of the G-20 Leaders’ Summit held in Indonesia. The meeting also assessed that the delegation led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Amir Mohammed bin Salman, who participated on behalf of Saudi Arabia to strengthen its prestigious and important position on the global economic map, was able to do so.
The Cabinet expressed hope that the decisions made by the leaders will contribute to positive results in reinforcing the cooperation of the countries and increasing the growth rate of the global economy.
