Red Bar, a popular business direct from the 30A Florida beach highway, down Wednesday morning (February 13), according to the local paper, NWFdailynews.com.
He did not immediately clarify what the burning at the business caused in the Downtown Grayton Street. No injuries reported, according to South Walton Fire District.
Under 6 a.m., firefighters were spending the fire at 70 Hotz Avenue, officials said. Here's the complete fire area statement via Facebook at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday:
SWFD staff could put the fire on the Red Bar and keep it from the nearby structures to refuse. The criminals related to a strong wind that made it difficult to fight. Unfortunately, Red Bar had a heavy fire damage and there is now a complete loss. No injuries reported. Avoid the area. SWFD Fire Marshal and the Florida State Fire Marshal Office will investigate when the scene is confirmed.
The Red Bar opened in 1995 by the old general store, according to its website.
30A is a beach traffic signal on Florida panhandle that goes through the Sea, Column Water, Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach and other holiday communities. It is a popular summer destination for New Orleans residents.
