Awami League presidium member Advocate Kamrul Islam said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) fought against the conspirators. Those who want to conspire against the country must be resisted according to the instructions of Islam.
He said these things at an Eid Miladunnabi function organized by Tariqat Mawla group at Hossaini Dalan in Old Dhaka on Thursday (September 28) afternoon.
Kamrul Islam said, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) grew up as an orphan from childhood. Before his youth, he became known to everyone as Al Amin, the believer. He established himself as a successful businessman. He was subjected to many tortures while preaching Islam. Apart from this he was a successful statesman.
Advocate Kamrul Islam also said that the first constitution of the world is the Medina Charter. The Medina Charter united all irrespective of caste and creed. Islam was the first to teach equal rights of people of all religions in a state. He has shown the equal rights of all people by avoiding violence. There was no malice.
Referring to patriotism as part of faith, this member of the presidium of Awami League said that there is a lot of difference between earlier Bangladesh and today’s Bangladesh. You admit it yourselves. Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a successful statesman of the world. If patriotism is part of faith, we do not want to lead the country to destruction.
Talking about the various developments of the government, he said that the Prime Minister has launched a mosque-based education system. Which we used to read in the mosque when we were children.
Awami League presidium member Mozaffar Hossain Paltu, Dhaka-7 Constituency Member of Parliament Haji Md. were also present under the chairmanship of Pir Syed Mohammad Emdadul Islam of Ahla Darbar Sharif of Bangladesh.
