The demand for the blood of those who did not take the covid vaccine; ‘Pure Blood’ movement with unfounded claims

Washington: Facebook groups organizing unvaccinated blood donors and calling for violence against doctors who encourage them to take the vaccine have led to the formation of a movement called ‘pure blood’. This movement spreads unfounded claims that receiving blood from people who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus is harmful to the body.

Believers in this movement advocate for blood banks that draw blood from unvaccinated people. Medical professionals in North America say they receive many requests for blood donations from people who have not received the vaccine.

Anti-vaccines call it ‘pure blood’. They spread claims that vaccinated people are dying and call for violence against the doctors who administer the vaccine. A recent case involving a New Zealand couple is an example of this. They tried to stop heart surgery on their baby after they suspected that the blood could have been taken from someone who had received the vaccine.

Following their stance, the New Zealand court decided to temporarily take the baby into custody for surgery. But the news has become a hot topic among anti-vaccine activists. There is no science behind such conspiracies. Kathryn Wallace, an epidemiologist and assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, told AFP that assuming blood was received from a vaccinated donor, the recipient was never vaccinated.

But Swiss naturopath George Della Pietra has also started an organization called ‘Safe Blood Donation’ to label mRNA coronavirus vaccines as a health threat and connect unvaccinated people with recipients. Based in Zurich, Flowers accepts blood from people who have not received the vaccine, and the service is available in Europe, America, Canada, Australia, Asia and Africa, according to the website.

“It is safe to receive blood from people who have received the Covid-19 vaccine,” Jessa Merrill of the American Red Cross told AFP. He said that like other vaccines, the Covid-19 vaccine is designed to induce an immune system that helps protect a person from the disease.

Safe Blood members pay a fee of €50 to join this group for the first time. The website says she pays €20 each subsequent year.’ Wallace said the ‘safe blood’ movement is based 100 percent on false anti-vaccine information.

Semen and breast milk

In addition to blood, social media messages asking for sperm from unvaccinated men are also circulating widely. Experts say that the demand for breast milk from unvaccinated mothers will also increase in the coming days, just like Bitcoin. Kovid
Such demands stem from belief in false claims that vaccines cause infertility and alter human DNA.

Meanwhile, obtaining such blood can be a challenge in countries with high vaccination rates, experts say. More than 80 percent of the population has received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine, according to the US Food and Drug Administration.
