Kottayam: A 10-year-old boy fell from a train and died when he opened the door to the toilet. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ishan, son of Siddique of Malappuram Mambat Pullippadam. The boy was traveling with his family on the Kochuveli-Nilambur road Rajyarani Express.

The accident took place at 11.45 last night in the Mooledam area. The family was returning after going to Thiruvananthapuram to attend a wedding. Ishaan was lifting to go to the toilet. It is believed that the toilet door was supposed to open the exit door to the train. The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
