New Delhi: Motorcycle brand Ducati is all set to launch the Desert X model. Hindustan Times Auto reports that Ducati will be launching the new dessert XX along with the online episode of Ducati World Premiere on December 9, 2020 at the Dubai Expo.
At the 2019 Ducati World Premiere 2020, Ducati first introduced the Desert Ex as a concept bike. Inspired by the early 90’s Kagiva Elephant 900ie from the Dakar Rally Fame, the market is booming. The upcoming motorcycle will be built on the same frame used by the Scrambler 1100.
The original concept model is powered by a 1,079cc dual-valve, air-cooled, desmodromic L-twin engine. The engine produces 86 hp at 7,500 rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. The Multistrada 950 is powered by a 937cc Testostratta L-twin water-cooled engine that produces 113 hp at 9,000 rpm and 96.3 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm.
