Bentuho, the national football team, scored three goals in two matches in the Asian final qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in October. Captain Son Heung-min (Tottenham) added two goals and MF Hwang In-beom (Rubin Kazan) added one. Thanks to this, they were able to run with 1 win and 1 draw, and an undefeated streak in the final 4 matches (2 wins and 2 draws). However, the silence of Hwang Ui-jo (Bordeaux) and Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton), who have been active in their team, remains a pity.
Hwang Ui-jo is the national team’s immovable striker. He captured the heart of coach Paulo Bento with his excellent scoring ability and link play. After returning to Bordeaux after finishing the national team schedule in September, Hwang Ui-jo scored three goals in two matches and maintained his scoring sense.
