The current abbot of Chumphon Temple also recalled that when he was cremating Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan, there was a strange scene that the fire could not be burned.

According to foreign media reports, Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan said on January 18, 2001 that he would not stay in the temple after the rainy season ended, “because the time of death has come.” As a result, Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan died on May 20, 2001, aged 101.

The current abbot of Chumphon Temple also said that when Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan’s body was cremated, there was a strange phenomenon that it could not be cremated or burned. Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan’s body was then placed in a glass coffin.

In the early days, no special antiseptic substances were put in the glass coffin, only simple moisture-proofing materials such as tea leaves and dehumidifiers, however, Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan’s body is not polluted. It was not until 2010 that Luang was given a body Phu Woraphon Thawitan in an air-conditioned coffin, and gold leaf was reattached to Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan’s body.

And miraculously, after the removal of the coffin was completed, the abbot of Chumphon Monastery dreamed of a snake crawling around in the room where the body of Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan was located during the night of August 13, 2010. The next day , other monks in the monastery said that they also dreamed of the same situation, and finally the two went to Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan’s room to check.

Unexpectedly, the two people found a small emerald green mark on the body. At first, they thought it was mold on the body, so they covered it with gold foil. Unexpectedly, the emerald green color gradually. It expanded to the whole body. The abbot of Chumphon Temple believes that this may be the magical power obtained from the practice of Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan, and the magic power still exists even after death.
