The Federal Reserve (Fed) concluded its September interest rate decision meeting on Wednesday (21st) and raised the benchmark interest rate by 3 yards to a range of 3.0% to 3.25% This is the third rate hike in a row by the Federal Reserve • rose to the highest level since before the 2008 financial crisis.

US stocks fell on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve announced its latest monetary policy conclusion, with the Dow Jones matching earlier gains and the US Treasury yield curve steepening, with the 2-year US Treasury yield breaking above 4 per cent for the first time since 2007.
