Kyodo News reported that the first cluster infection of COVID-19 occurred at the Tokyo Olympic Athletes’ Village in Japan.

All 12 members of the Greek Artistic Swimming Squad, including 7 who tested negative for COVID-19, were transferred to lodging care facilities or waiting facilities.

Greece will be banned from competing in the artistic swimming duets and teams.

The organizing committee announced today, the 13th day of the Olympic Games, that 29 athletes and event officials have tested positive for COVID-19.
