In the first fencing that was held, our players made a good start.
It is an important game where you have to put all of your efforts into winning by winning just one point and winning by one point by competing against 35 players once for two and a half hours, rounding 10 pistes in turn.
In particular, Jin-hwa Jeong, the ‘eldest brother’, was dazzling.

Jeon Woong-tae, who is ranked 4th in the world rankings, who is considered a strong gold medal candidate, also achieved not bad results in fencing, which was considered a weakness.
He struggled until the middle due to the tension of the Olympic stage, but at the end of the day, he won successive victories and climbed to ninth place.
A former swimmer… In the laser run, which combines shooting and track, it was strong enough to set a new Olympic record in Rio five years ago, so we are aiming for a reversal in the remaining events.

In the women’s division, Kim Se-hee surprised 2nd place, increasing the chances of medals.

The modern pentathlon team will challenge for the first Olympic medal in the women’s division tomorrow and the men’s division the day after tomorrow.
