The first San Mateo woman was born in a newly opened maternity

This March 20, the town of San Mateo was filled with joy upon receiving the first San Mateo born in the newly opened maternity hospital, located inside the Doctor Rafael González Villamizar outpatient clinic.

At 7:35 AM, the first daughter of the sentimental union between Yohan Rodríguez and Dayana Peña, inhabitants of the El Calvario sector, was born, weighing 4 kilos and measuring 59cm, Mía Rodríguez Peña is the first San Mateo woman to come into the world naturally in the recent Maternity inaugurated.

The delivery was humanized with the presence of the parent, who accompanied and was part of the delivery process, assisted by doctors Doris Peña R1 and Yoglibe Hernández R2.

The parent Dayana Peña received a visit from the citizen Governor Karina Carpio and the mayor Lolimar Montilla, who shared and gave away a basket with basic utensils for the use of the baby in these first days of life.

Mayor Lolimar Montilla expressed her happiness and support for President Nicolás Maduro and Governor Karina Carpio for all the love and care for the people of San Mateo “Today once again we express our happiness and commitment to continue working and in more works like these, where we dignify the life of the San Mateo and how beautiful that the birth of a new being is dignified thanks to the revolution, (…) this first girl and her family are blessed like all those who will be born in the following days”, highlighted Montilla.
