Thiruvananthapuram – CPM has agreed to end the debate on raising the pension age in public sector organizations to 60 years. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan gave an explanation in this regard at the state secretariat.
The Prime Minister said in the secretariat that such a decision had been made as part of the preparation of the general framework and had been frozen as it was not a party policy. The removal of Governor Arif Muhammad Khan from the post of Chancellor is also being considered. This matter was discussed in the state secretariat of the CPM.
It is noted that Kerala is also moving in the footsteps of other states. It was discussed that this will help to some extent to stop the continuous interventions of the governor. The state committee will make the final decision. The state committee meets on Saturday and Sunday.
