Hangzhou Asian Games “League of Legends” Warm-up Games to Commence

The highly anticipated Hangzhou Asian Games “League of Legends” project is all set to kick off from September 25th to 29th. The tournament, organized by the Korea E-Sports Association (KeSPA), will witness a series of warm-up matches in the coming days. One such clash, between South Korea and Taiwan, is scheduled to take place on December 12th at 7 pm Taiwan time.

Warm-up Matches: South Korea vs. Vietnam and Taiwan

The Asian Games “League of Legends” warm-up games, led by South Korea, will feature formidable lineups from South Korea, Vietnam, and Taiwan. Fans can expect to see legendary players such as Faker, Chovy, Ruler, Karsa, FoFo, SwordArt, and many more competing on the same stage. These warm-up matches will be played on the Asian Games version 10.12, following a Best of 3 format.

  • South Korea: TOP – CFO (Rest & DCG – Hanabi), JG – WBG (Karsa), MID – T1 (Zeus), AD – UP (Doggo), SUP Controller – UP (SwordArt), Coach – Warhorse, kkOma
  • Taiwan: TOP – T1 (Faker & Gen.G – Chofi), JG – JDG (Kanavi), MID – EDG (Fofo), AD – JDG (SUP), SUP Controller – T1 (Keria)

It has been reported that the warm-up match was held offline in South Korea, with Taiwanese players traveling to the country for preparation. For viewers in Taiwan, the games will be available to watch through online broadcasts on AfreecaTV.

For today’s (11th) “South Korea vs. Vietnam” warm-up match, viewers can tune in to KeSPA’s Twitch, YouTube, Afreeca, and other broadcasting platforms. Tomorrow’s “Korea vs. Taiwan” warm-up match will be broadcast live in Chinese, exclusively on the AfreecaTV channel @aftwlol.
