Mane said it was a good feeling to be back on the pitch. He said the next important thing is to join his teammates.
The club has not made it clear that Mane will start playing immediately. The player, who joined Bayern from Liverpool last June, has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances.
Mane was injured in the last game he played for Bayern Munich before the World Cup. The injury occurred during the match between Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on November 8.
By winning the Africa Cup of Nations, Mane put Senegal on the front foot once again in front of the football world.
