The Judge is “Our Treasure” Director Yagun & Ace highly recommend MVP, Otani “He’s great…” | Full Account

Yagun Cole “The important thing is win or lose the team”

Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge hit two homers in a game against the Brewers on the 18th (19th Japan time), hitting his 59th home run of the season. In 1961, it was two more than the NPB record for home runs of 61st place marked by Roger Maris, and with four hits on the day, his batting average was .316, just one hundredth behind the top. Manager Aaron Boone and right-hander ace Gerrit Cole pushed hard for the top gun’s MVP award to send off a historic season.

According to local New York media “Newsday”, the two talked about the “MVP battle” between the judge and Angels pitcher Shohei Otani before the game on this day. “Shohei may be doing better than last season, but Judge is making history,” Boone said.

Cole, who has 12 wins so far this season, also recommends Judge. “The important thing is the victory or defeat of the team,” MVP insisted that the results of the team should also be considered. It accounts for a large portion (of the team’s results) and it is reflected in the numbers,” he praised. I was hoping for an MVP award.
