Muzaffarnagar: Khap Maha Panchayat organized under the leadership of Naresh Tikayat has started in Soram village of Muzaffarnagar to support wrestlers. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha protested by burning an effigy of Brij Bhushan Singh. Naresh Tikayat said that Khap Maha Panchayat will be organized in Kurukshetra tomorrow and Sonipat on June 4.
If Brij Bhushan is not arrested within five days, the wrestlers will go ahead with the strike. Naresh Tikayat said that he will stand with the wrestlers no matter what decision they take. When the wrestlers came to throw their medals into the Ganges to protest against the inaction against Brijbhushan, they were turned away by the farmers’ leaders.
