Google has applied Material You design to its ‘Android Auto’ smart car platform mobile app.
According to foreign media on the 29th (local time), Google is providing a redesigned app user interface (UI) that supports dark mode for Android Auto Beta 8.6 users who are registered for the beta program.
The updated Android Auto app integrates Material Design into the Connect, Start and Display menus, and features round button overlays and matching color accents on the UI. The current header image has been removed and the settings menu has been rearranged.
As soon as the beta test is over, Google is expected to officially introduce Material Design U in the next update.
