The new Lexar mobile SSD hard drive has a read speed of 2,000MB/s and comes with RGB lighting effects

Computer accessories manufacturer Lexar has released the SL660 Blaze gaming series of mobile SSD hard drives, offering gamers and creators the NVMe performance of a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20Gbps) interface. One of the selling points of this mobile SSD is its read and write speeds, which can reach up to 2,000MB/s read and 1,900MB/s write.

As a product of the gaming series, Lexar specially added the RGB LED lighting effects common to gaming products in the hanging holes of the SL660 Blaze. The aluminum casing of the SL660 Blaze is sandblasted for added durability and protection against shock and vibration, and its design has previously won the Red Dot Design Award from the German Design Association.

In addition to the excellent read and write speeds mentioned above, the Lexar SL660 Blaze mobile SSD hard drive is also equipped with 256-bit AES encryption software, reducing the risk of damage, loss or accidental deletion of important files. The manufacturer specially provides a double-headed USB Type-A and Type-C adapter cable for the SL660 Blaze, which can be placed vertically on the desktop with the base. The Lexar SL660 Blaze is available in 512GB and 1TB capacities, priced at $129.99 and $199.99 (about HK$1,020 and HK$1,570), respectively.
