On the 29th, AFC (Angel Fighting Championship) 19 was held at Sindorim Techno Mart in Guro-gu, Seoul.
Kim Sang-wook (Team Stone Gun), the star of ‘Steel Troop’, gave his mentor Kim Dong-hyun a gold medal. Kim Sang-wook fought Ahn Jae-young for the interim welterweight title on the same day.
In the 3 round match, Kim Sang-wook showed overwhelming ground skills and won Ahn Jae-young’s victory by unanimous decision, including 30:27, 30:27, and 30:27.
Kim Sang-wook perfectly won without giving Ahn Jae-young a chance to attack with the grappling following the hit that day.
After the victory, Kim Sang-wook, who responded to the interview with tears of emotion, said, “It’s like a dream. It was a God-given opportunity to stand here. He became the champion because he did not give up. I want to face Kim Han-seul, the champion of the two major groups.” He challenged Kim Han-seul, the champion of AFC and Double G FC.
