The North East Missouri woman was killed in a farm dumping accident

The tragedy came about 4:45 p.m. Thursday on a farm just outside the city boundaries of Canton, Mo. (KHQA)

The Northern Missouri woman is dead as a result of a tragic farm accident.

It came about 4:45 p.m. Thursday on their farm along County County Route P southwest of Canton.

Identified Lewis County Coroner, Larry Arnold, the victim as Marilyn Campen-Berhorst, 58, from Canton.

Emergency respondent on the spot told KTVO that Campa-Berhorst appeared in some way after tackling the tractor power transfer (PTO), which was connected to a grinder mix.

Investigators were not able to determine exactly how the accident happened.

Campen-Berhorst was announced dead at the moment at 5:10 p.m. Thursday.

The agencies that helped the tragedy were the County Sheriff Office, Canton Police Department, Canton Fire Department, County County Ambulance and Missouri State Highway Patrols.
