Riyadh: The Ministry of Health today announced that Kovid has confirmed 384 new cases in Saudi Arabia. 12 deaths were also reported. The number of people who have recovered in the last 24 hours is 737. There are 4,877 patients in hospitals across the country. Of these, 1,156 remain in critical condition. The ministry said the number of critically ill patients was six less than the previous day.
This brings the total number of Kovid cases in the country to 541,994, the number of survivors to 528,636 and the number of deaths to 8,481. So far 33,947,213 Kovid tests have been completed in the country, including 58,799 newly conducted Kovid tests. Of these, 21,391,519 received the first dose and 12,555,694 received the second dose. The ministry said 1,566,491 children had been vaccinated.
Today, the highest number of patients reported is in Riyadh; 134 people. Riyadh also leads in number of critically ill patients; 285 people. Other areas where the disease has been confirmed today are Makkah 62, Eastern Province 37, Jizan 31, Al Qasim 30, Azir 27, Najran 21, Madinah 21, Hail 12, Tabuk 5, Albaha 3, Northern Province 3 and Al Jawf 2. The number of critically ill patients in the area is as follows: Eastern Province 191, Makkah 175, Azir 116, Al Qasim 92, Jizan 78, Madinah 71, Najran 51, Hail 40, Tabuk 23, Northern Province 15, Al Jawf 10 and Al Baha 9.
