Riyadh: The number of critically ill Kovid victims is declining in Saudi Arabia. In a country of 3.5 crore people, only 90 Kovid patients are in critical condition today. They are being treated in the intensive care units of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory.

Meanwhile, 49 new cases of Kovid virus have been confirmed in the country today. According to figures released daily by the Saudi Ministry of Health, only 38 people across the country were cured in 24 hours. Two deaths were reported in different parts of the country. A total of 45,275 PCR tests were performed today. The total number of reported cases in the country was 5,48,018. Of these, 5,37,037 recovered. A total of 8,767 people died.

The country’s covid liberation rate remains at 98 percent and the death rate at 1.6 percent. Vaccination in the country exceeded 44,812,942 doses. Of these, 23,954,579 were the first dose. 20,858,363 per second dose. 1,687,932 doses were given to the elderly. Number of newly reported patients in different parts of the country: 16 each in Riyadh, 9 in Jeddah, 3 in Jubail, 2 in Darb, 2 in Makkah and 17 other places.
