Police in Saudi Arabia have arrested a young man who brutally beat and abused a puppy. The incident took place in Riyadh. Protests erupted as the video went viral on social media.
The young man, who arrived in the car with the puppy, stopped the car, hung the puppy by the tail and hit him on the road with his shoe. The Rahma Society for Animal Welfare had come out in strong protest over the incident after the footage came out on social media. Riyadh police said the arrested suspect has been handed over to the relevant departments for further action.
