Broadcaster Kim Na-young revealed her special relationship with singer Yang Hee-eun.
In JTBC’s ‘Brave Solo Parenting – I Raise (hereinafter referred to as Raising)’, which was broadcast on the 30th, Kim Na-young invited Yang Hee-eun to her house.
On this day’s broadcast, Kim Na-young said about Yang Hee-eun, “He was a big help when I was having a hard time, and my mother passed away early, so there are times when I think that the teacher is ‘like a mother’. It’s warm and like an adult, and I’m leaning on it with all my heart.”
He continued, “When I was broadcasting, my teacher was very nice to me. The teacher has a scary image, so I was scared too, but one day he gave me a card with a small gift. I prepared it for the wounded child inside you.” The moment I read that card, I felt comforted like a pat.”
Also, on that day, Kim Na-young recalled the moment she decided to raise the child alone and said, “I went to (Yang Hee-eun) teacher’s house and said, ‘I will do that. I think he made noodles,” he said.
He said, “I told the teacher, ‘I’m so scared. Are you scared?” I said, “Just quietly listen to what your heart says. Then there is nothing to be afraid of,’ he said. After hearing those words, I really lost my fear,” he confessed, crying.
In an interview with the production team, Yang Hee-eun said, “My mother divorced and raised three daughters, but unlike the decision back then, it was quick and accurate. It was surprising, but it was right.” He said, “It’s wrong, right and wrong, people can’t talk about it recklessly, but looking at Na-young now, I think she did well.”
He continued, “I want to have someone by Na-young’s side. If there are no sisters or mothers, it would be great if even an aunt would live nearby.” He said, “I heard that Nayoung wrote a book about calling her class teacher ‘teacher’s mother’ because her mother died before entering elementary school. Reading that book, I think I felt especially close to (Nayoung). I thought I wanted to be Na-young’s mother.”
