Kamal Haasan has confirmed that the film will be released this year. In an interview with Pink Villa, Kamal Haasan said that the film with Mahesh Narayanan will be released in July this year.
‘I have a commitment with Mahesh Narayanan. Mahesh started his career with me as a cinematographer and editor. We know each other very well. The script for me is done. The film will be released in late July or early August, ‘said Kamal.
Kamal Haasan also spoke about making a film that immediately focuses on a comedy.
‘I have never done comedy films in a way that gets national attention. But the number of my comedy films in Tamil is more than any other. I still want to do a comedy movie. Comedy is also a serious business. So be more careful when doing that, ‘he added.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan’s new film Vikram has thrilled the fans on the day of its release. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj, is reportedly set to become the biggest weekend hit in Tamil Nadu this year. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Fazil in the lead roles and Surya is the guest star.
