In today’s (28) STATE OF PLAY, the sequel of the “Star Ocean Ranger” (old translation: Galaxy Ranger) series “STAR OCEAN THE DIVINE FORCE” was released for the first time.
This new work was jointly developed by Tri-Ace and Square Enix to maintain the plot of the “Star Sea Ranger” series that blends fantasy and science fiction settings. It is also a new work following the 2016 “Star Ocean Ranger 5 Loyalty and Betrayal”.
The gameplay is shown in the trailer. It uses seamless battles like the previous game, but this time there are more moving methods such as gliding in the air. At first glance, there is quite a SEGA “Phantasy Star Online 2: New Century” Look like.
“STAR OCEAN THE DIVINE FORCE” is expected to be released on PS4 and PS5 in 2022.
