After many road tests, Ford overseas finally officially revealed the true face of the sixth-generation Ford Mondeo. The overhauled Mondeo cites a lot of Mustang and EVOS design vocabularies, swept away the old-fashioned feeling of medium and large RVs in the past, making the new car quite stylish and dynamic, and through the enlargement of the body size, it can bring better interior space planning.
The sixth-generation Ford Mondeo measures 4,935×1,875×1,500mm in length, width and height and has a wheelbase of 2,945mm. Compared with the past five generations, the car length and wheelbase have increased by 64 and 95mm respectively, and the size is comparable to that of many large RVs. The new generation of Ford Mondeo will focus on the interior space of the model.

The new-generation Mondeo maintains the body lines with a sense of beauty and strength. The front adopts the latest generation design vocabulary, blends the elements of the popular EVOS crossover SUV, and is matched with the scale-shaped water tank guard and the separate LED headlight group, which not only has a visual sense of hierarchy Rich, creating a more low-lying aggressive atmosphere.
Through waistline optimization, oblique shape, hidden door handles, etc., the new car looks like a sporty four-door coupe.
The side of the car is designed with double waistlines, which integrates high window lines to make the new car look mature. On the new-generation model, the slanted back line is folded down from the C-pillar to enhance a lot of visual movement. In addition, the four doors feature hidden door handles that optimize aesthetics and aerodynamics.
The taillights pay tribute to the Mustang sports car, and the bumper lines present a good three-dimensional effect.
The rear adopts a short tail design with three-dimensional taillights similar to the Mustang, which pays tribute to the classic. The lower part adopts a hidden dual-exhaust exhaust pipe, supplemented by a plated lattice material, which brings a high degree of recognition under the overall combination.
The interior and power have not been announced, but according to the registration information from the original factory, the sixth-generation Ford Mondeo will be equipped with a 2.0-liter ECOBOOST turbo engine, paired with an 8-speed manual transmission, and is expected to deliver a maximum horsepower of 238hp.
In addition to the RV version that debuted first, observing the trends of previous overseas test cars, the sixth-generation Mondeo is expected to follow the Focus and launch a cross-border Active version.
