According to reports, the Tiantong-1 satellite mobile communication system is a satellite mobile communication system independently developed and constructed by China and an important part of China’s space information infrastructure. The system consists of a space segment, a ground segment and user terminals. The space segment consists of multiple geosynchronous orbit mobile communication satellites.
Tiantong-1 01 was launched by the Long March 3B carrier rocket on August 6, 2016, and has been in orbit stably for 4 years.
