Kochi: The shooting of the movie “The Teacher” directed by Vivek has started in Thankassery, Kollam after the movie ‘Athiran’ starring Amala Paul in the lead role. Other prominent actors are Chemban Vinod Jose, Hakeem Shahjahan, Prashant Murali, Nandu, Harish Pengan, Manju Pillai, Anumol, Mala Parvathy and Vineetha Koshy.

The film is produced by Varun Tripuraneni and Abhishek Ramishetti under the banner of Nut Mug Productions. Produced by Films. Anu Moothedath is the cinematographer.
