Cheers erupted when Kim Yeon-kyung, the protagonist of the women’s volleyball quarterfinals, appeared at the arrival hall with the Taegeukgi.

Jeon Woong-tae, who even took part in the closing ceremony by winning the first medal in Korean modern pentathlon history, promised a bigger leap forward.

Our team showed their fighting spirit and sportsmanship in this tournament, and impressed with a dramatic match.

He won 6 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals, placing 16th in the overall ranking.

While professional sports, such as baseball and soccer, who had been resting on their popularity in Korea, realized the walls of the world and confirmed many homework assignments, the tearful propaganda of athletes from unpopular sports such as track and field, modern pentathlon, and diving threw hope.

The Taegeuk warriors who warmed up Tokyo for 17 days are now running to Paris three years later.
