A truck carrying explosives exploded in Ghana, Africa, killing dozens and devastating entire villages.
According to Reuters news on the 20th local time, a truck loaded with explosives from Apiate, a small town in western Ghana, heading for a nearby gold mine collided with a motorcycle and exploded.
At least 50 people were killed in the explosion, authorities said, with 500 buildings destroyed.
Local police said most of the victims were rescued and taken to hospital.
