The U.K. is preparing to ban Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist organization, completely

The British Home Office said on Friday that it would ban Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist group, as a terrorist organization. Home Secretary Priti Patel has said that Hamas will be completely banned from the list of terrorist organizations. Preity Zinta said she would also punish those who support Hamas. Mr Patel said Hamas supporters could face up to 10 years in prison and that the country would not tolerate violence against Jews.

“Hamas has a clear role to play in the ongoing attacks on Jews in the country,” Patel said. Hamas is currently banned in the UK. With the new law, Hamas’ political wing will also be banned. With this, none of Hamas’ activities will take place in the UK. In a statement, Home Secretary Preity Patel said that Hamas has terrorist potential and links to terrorism, including access to advanced and state-of-the-art weapons and terrorist training facilities.

‘Hamas is fundamentally anti-Semitic. Antisemitism is an evil I will never forgive. Jews constantly feel insecure. In schools, on the streets, in places of worship, at home and online. Anyone who supports the banned organization is violating the law. That includes Hamas, ‘said Patel, who will raise the issue in parliament next week and implement the new law.
