The Umrah visa has been extended from one month to three months

Mecca: The visa period for Umrah has been increased from one month to three months. Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud addressed a press conference at the Saudi Embassy in Amman, Jordan. This was reported by Tawfiq al-Rabia.

Previously, Umrah visa holders were only allowed to travel to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. However, for the convenience of the pilgrims, those arriving in Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas can travel to all parts of Saudi Arabia. Tawfiq al-Rabia added.

He added that an electronic service would be launched for individual Umrah pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia to apply for an Umrah visa. The minister said applications for Umrah visas could be submitted from outside Saudi Arabia without relying on Umrah companies. He added that Saudi Vision 2030 aims to facilitate the acceptance of more Umrah pilgrims.
