Mecca: The holy Hajj will begin on Sunday. After a gap of one year, Mina Valley, which has many historical moments, is once again gearing up for another Hajj. The Hajj, which is usually attended by over 25 lakh people, is being held this time with only 60,000 people attending the Kovid background. This time too, the ceremonies will be held in compliance with heavy security and health norms.
Pilgrims can stay at the tent and minaret in Mina full time on Sunday. After spending the day in Mina with prayers and other prayers, they will leave Mina for Arafa on Monday morning to attend the ‘Arafah gathering.
The first batch of pilgrims arrived at the Haram in Makkah on Saturday. The pilgrims were received at the four centers of Al-Nawaria, Al-Zaidi, Al-Sharia and Al-Hada where they were instructed to gather. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also directed that preventive measures be taken.
