The band Autumn Vacation Jung Bobby (real name Jeong Dae-wook, 44) was acquitted of the charge of ‘illegal filming’ in the appeal court for lack of evidence of guilt.

On the 1st, the 1st Criminal Appellate Division (Chief Judge Woo In-seong) of the Seoul Western District Court overturned the lower court’s sentence of one year in prison to Bobby Jeong, who was accused of illegal filming and assault, and sentenced him to earn a fine of 3 million. However, he was found guilty of some assault charges.

The court ruled that there was insufficient evidence to convict on the charges of illegal filming.

On July 30, 2019, Bobby Jeong was transferred to trial on charges of illegally filming the body parts of her ex-girlfriend and aspiring singer in her 20s. It is known that Mr A made an extreme choice after appealing to those around him for Bobby Jeong to rape and film her without her consent.

Bobby Jeong is also accused of assaulting another woman, B, and illegally filming her between July 12 and September 24 last year, as well as Mr A.

Bobby Jeong admitted to some of the assault charges, but denied the charges of illegal filming.

In October 2021, the prosecution combined the two cases and charged Mr Jeong without custody for assault and shooting using a camera under the Sexual Violence Crime Penalty Act.

With the verdict of not guilty in the appeal court, Bobby Jeong is released on the same day.
