During the flight of the take-off airliner, a bat flew in the cabin, causing the airliner to make an emergency turnaround.
According to DPA news, a bat suddenly appeared in the cabin of Air India’s Boeing 777 airliner departing from New Delhi, India on the 27th, and heading for the United States, which surprised passengers and crew.
The bats began flying around in the cabin, and as passengers and crew panicked, the captain decided to return to New Delhi airport an hour after take-off.
After landing at New Delhi’s airport, the airliner put down passengers to search for bats, and the flying bat was found dead in the business class section.
According to Air India’s own report, the airline is investigating the possibility of a bat being brought in by a freight vehicle used in the process of bringing in the meal.
