Master Tejas was selected through an audition in Cucumber Town. During the shooting, Manju Warrier came across a two and a half year old video of Tejas. Tejas’s were crying all over the video when he told me that he wanted to see Manju Warrier.
Though she cried then, Tejas is now happy to act again. The star’s reply was a spontaneous laugh in front of Kurun’s love. Manju did not forget to stop and take a photo. Tejas is now six years old.
Mahesh Vettiyar is directing ‘Vellarikapattanam’ produced by Full Onstudios. Written by journalist Sarath Krishna and directed by him. Cinematography is by Alex J. Pulikkal. Mavelikkara and Venmani are the main locations. Apart from Manju Warrier and Saub, the film also stars Salim Kumar, Suresh Krishna, Krishnashankar, Shabarish Verma, Edavela Babu, Abhirami Bhargava, Kottayam Ramesh, Veena Nair, Pramod Velianad and Srikanth Vettiar.
