The Rs 100 crore film was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Films. Santosh T Kuruvila and Roy CJ are the co-producers. The movie will hit theaters on December 2. Apart from Malayalam, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Despite the rumors that the film will be released on ODT, Mohanlal’s fans and audiences are excited about the decision to finally release it in theaters. The film took about two and a half years to complete. Maraikkar has already won national awards including Best Picture.
