New Delhi: Baba Ramdev is at loggerheads with the Indian Medical Association over a controversial reference to allopathic treatment. Although Baba Ramdev tried to retaliate by withdrawing the reference, the controversy continued. Controversial Ramdev’s latest statement is that if there is a complaint against him, it should be against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan.
Ramdev has challenged the ‘medical mafia’ to file a complaint against actor Aamir Khan if he has the courage to make a statement against allopathy. Ramdev took to Twitter to share a video of Aamir Khan’s talk show ‘Satyameva Jayate’ on Star Plus channel in 2012.
In ‘Sathyameva Jayate’ presented by Aamir Khan, Dr. Ramdev shared a part of the episode starring Samit Sharma. The doctor is talking about the excessive price of the drugs.
The actual price of many drugs is much lower than what is charged. Sharma says. Taxes range from 10 to 50 percent. The doctor also asks if the 40 crore people in India who do not have access to two meals a day can afford the drug at such a high price.
Aamir Khan retorts, “A lot of people can’t afford drugs because of the high prices.” According to the World Health Organization, 65 per cent of people in India cannot afford essential medicines due to high prices.
Pointing to this discussion, Ramdev argues that those who file cases against him should also file a complaint against Aamir Khan.
If there is a dilemma in these medical mafias, then open a front against Aamir Khan-
