The legends of the cricket world are master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Pakistan’s Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar. One of the biggest rivalries in the world of cricket was between Sachin and Akhtar.
Akhtar now says he feels sorry for Sachin. In an interview, Akhtar said that Sachin had to face many of the best bowlers the world has seen in their prime and that’s why he felt sorry for him.
“I feel sorry for Sachin. Because Sachin had to face players like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne in their prime. Sachin then had to face the fastest bowler on earth.
But don’t know what Sachin did, he beat these bowlers in the early nineties and repeated the same in the late nineties. He attacked all these bowlers including me.
I feel sorry for Sachin because he had to face the best bowlers in the history of cricket like us.
But I am proud of Sachin. The reason is that this man has directly beaten the best fast bowlers in the world, the best fast bowling talents born on earth, legendary spinners including Shane Warne.
There is no better player in the world than him who has scored lakhs of runs including from first class. It’s just Sachin Tendulkar,’ said Akhtar.
